Random fun stuff

We've been doing a lot of work on the trailer the past few weeks, and when we pull out our tools, so does Brenix.

I love this one of Mak that we took at my Mom and Dad's house. Isn't this just a face that says "I didn't do it!"

All in a Saturday Afternoon

So this afternoon, I decided I need to clean out under my kitchen sink cause i noticed it had been leaking. But before I got to it, I wanted to get all my cleaning rags (the really heavy ones) out from under my bathroom sink to use to clean under my kitchen sink. As i started moving things around under the bathroom sink, I noticed everything was all wet.... and what do you know, we have a leak there too! And a bad one, we're talking the "mold" bad. So the whole vanity had to go.

Let's face it, it wasn't the prettiest thing ever anyway, so what with the mold and all it was time to say bye, bye to mister ugly!

Between Gregg and I was had it all out in about 10 min. I love the wallpaper we found behind it, doesn't it scream "Please cover me back up!"

And in the end we have a decent, didn't take too long to put in, new vanity and sink! And most important it doesn't leak!

I love that we knew enough about what we were doing that it didn't take to long. But it still means the the kitchen is yet to come.....

Family Night

Last night was Family Night, and MaKayla got to chose the activity. So we made sugar cookies!

We had a great time, and the kids loved having Daddy show them how to roll out and cut the cookies!
And below we have the Diva herself. MaKayla's Grandma Sue took her out shopping for a new dress, and they came back with a dark pink shirt, dark pink tutu, and jewelry. She is definitely hot stuff.

And life wouldn't be complete with out the cat in the hat! At school Brenix's class celebrated the Cat in the Hat's birthday, and he came home looking like this. Just so you know, he tried to sleep in his hat. I love my kids. Everyday they find new ways to make me laugh.

It's the hard knock life for us

Life down Miller lane has been pretty hard the last month. Our 3 year old cousin Thomas James Coleman, was taken to live with his Heavenly Father on Feb. 6 2011. He was a sweet happy and fun loving boy, and Brenix's best friend. Tom was like a son to me and a brother to MaKayla and Brenix. We have felt his absents greatly. We have had a lot more tears and not so much laughter, but we know that we will see our special Tom Tom again, and that Brenix will always have a really good friend and cousin looking after him.

Below is a pic of Tom's mom, Aunt Michele, his brother and one of his sisters, Mike and Sarah. We love the Coleman's very much.

I have struggled for weeks on how to write out this blog, and words fail me (Which as most of you know is a rarity). I wish i had a gift for words, that i could describe how amazing Michele's family is, and what great parents, her and David are. I wish i could tell you all the awesome feelings and emotions that come to mind and heart when i think of our Tom Tom. But when i write them down, the words sound hollow and flat. So i will end by just saying, that we have Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that Families are forever, that we will See Tom Tom again! And with a loving heart and streaming eyes, I'll leave it at that.

Great Family

So we wanted to get a family pic of us to send out in our Christmas cards this year. The cards got written, but we still hadn't taken any pictures. So we went and asked a "big" favor from Aunt Michele. See what you get.......

not too bad huh?

But as a side note, we took this about 3 days before Christmas. Needless to say no one got a card or a picture from us. So this will have to do. Hope you all had a great and fabulous Christmas!

Little Boomerang

This is Rebecca Ann (Aunt Michelle's and Uncle Dave's youngest)

Cute little booger huh?

We spent Thanksgiving with the Coleman family this year and ate up at Aunt Kathy's and Uncle Reed's house. Becca was my special friend during most of the evening. Within 5 min of getting there, she was handed to me. Which is fine we me, I love this little thing. Anyway, Becca would wiggle free and walk off to explore a little. But the funny thing was, she would only be gone for about 10 min before either she came back or someone was handing her back to me. I think i saw more of Becca then of my own kids this Thanksgiving (which suited them just fine, since they wanted to spend time with the other cousins and not their mom). Needless to say Becca is my little boomerang and i couldn't have been happier with it.
